【養褲分享】未來工程師，秉祐的Nudie橘耳布邊Grim Tim

今天邀請到目前在替代役服役的朋友秉祐大大，在那之前他完成了研究所的學業，期間順便養成了第一件Nudie Jeans。

出乎意料的是，這件褲子成為台灣目前見過最狂野的色落之一，也讓我們十分好奇過程是如何產生的～經過一番書信往來，我們完成了與主人的個人專訪：

Today we ask our dear friend Ray to share about his first pair of Nudie, after three years of good time in it.

This is also the very first three pair of selvage denim I have sold myself at the beginning of my little undertaking back then.

It is such a surprise to see this dude coming back and hand in his brilliantly worn-in Grim Tim Dry Selvage to share with us.

Q. 回想三年前是如何接觸Nudie? 為何第一件就選擇日本布邊款？

秉祐,
＂當初會接觸Nudie不外乎是受到論壇前輩們推坑，當然版型也是我選擇Nudie的原因，相較於日系復刻褲，Nudie的版型較為俐落許多，以及較為特色的波浪袋花。
選擇布邊的原因，若能在較為俐落的Nuide版型下又保有日系復刻褲的布邊布料，這兩者不同的元素下養褲，這將會是很棒很新奇的體驗，再加上自己喜歡這種無彈性較為硬挺的布料，因此選擇橘耳布邊，最後時間證明這褲子的色落真是出乎意料的好。＂

Q. Looking back at the beginning, what makes you want to buy Nudie Jeans? Surprisingly, you chose our best selvage denim for your first pair!

Lee, “There’s many people talking about Nudie. The main reason I choose Nudie instead of Japanese label is the fitting. I think Nudie looks better and they have a beautifully designed embo, which is quite distinctive.
I simply can’t resist stiff raw feeling of pure cotton fabric. Also it’d be very cool to have a pair of Japanese denim in a Nudie slim silhouette. The result proves I made the right choice.”

Q. 挑到這麼好的布料養成真的幸運，三年不短。不知未來穿牛有什麼改變，以及未來工作有什麼計劃，會特別找可以穿牛仔褲的工作？

秉祐,

＂未來的話會想尋找更多不一樣的布料來養吧，畢竟每種布料養出來的色落皆不盡相同；慶幸工程師對於上班服裝沒什麼要求，又可以繼續漫長的養褲之路了(笑＂

Q. It’s lucky you got such a pair of great denim for your virgin raw jeans. Three year is not a short time. Have your mind changed during this period? Will you look for a job that allow casual dress code so you can start your next project while working?

Lee, “Luckily, for an engineer there’s not much rules about how you dress. I would like to try more different fabric in the future. Another journey awaits haha! ”

Q. Nudie顧全了布料、版型、設計，而穿的人才是主角，方便與我分享你的生活和興趣？

秉祐,

＂當初入手Nidie時還是個準備研究所考試的大學生，每天穿著Nudie到圖書館報到，畢竟整天待在冷房，每天養牛也是很合理的，後來有幸考理想的研究所，過這騎著UBike的研究生活，也許這就是造就我褲子蜂窩色落的原因吧(笑；

目前正在服役，未來的計畫會到科技業當個工程師吧，至於平時的嗜好就是在各個流行時尚論壇上默默的潛水，還需要各位大大的開箱文推坑(笑＂

Q. Nudie has made a good job on providing best denim and cutting. However, it’s the wearer who gives the jeans life and history. Do you mind sharing what you do in those jeans?

Lee, “I was in college preparing for postgraduate school when I purchased this pair. No matter sunny or rainy I wore it to our library, where there’s air conditioner all day long. Later I got my desired position in the research facility and started my life producing essays. During the time I ride Ubike (a city bike in Taiwan) everyday. I suppose it’s the reason I got such beautiful combs on my Grim Tim.

I’m currently working in the mandatory substitute military service like every graduated student. I’ll be looking forward to see more good stuff shared by you guys."

Q 念著念著也考上牛仔研究所了。

這位老朋友，對台灣牛仔界有什麼展望？

秉祐,

＂如果有牛仔研究所，我願意攻讀博士（笑；

身為一個Nudie的愛好者，當然是希望可以將Nudie這個品牌推廣至台灣更多的地方！另外關於服務，從我三年前關注到在歐洲有Nuide Repair shop的服務時，當時就感到相當的驚艷且興奮，倘若有專屬於台灣Nudie維修概念店的話，不僅提供了一個貼心的維修服務，更是為Nudie這個品牌樹立了更加專業的品牌形象，這將會是一件很酷的事，也是我期待發生的事。＂

Q. As an old friend of ours. What do you expect to see in Taiwan’s denim industry?

Lee, “”If there’s a jean school, I would’ve applied already. Haha. As a Nudie lover, I definitely like to see Nudie become more popular and accepted by local people. I saw that Nudie opened concept stores around the world in past couple years. I was very exciting when I learned those news. It’d be very cool and considerate if anyone could provide such service in Taiwan.
